Hämmerli SP20 Wooden Grip - Part 5

Today's post covers making of palm shelf.

Working on the grip I had suitable rest piece of wood for the palm shelf.
Drew the contour and started to work with the chisel.

Chisel, rasp and sand paper.

Fits well.

Did two holes (two inox M4 screws). Made desired shape.

Cutouts for adjusting screws (rear sight).

Looks better and better...

I am satisfied.

I expect some work regarding fitting the measurement box 300 x 150 x 50 mm. I don't think, that pistol will fit in it now. Here 1-2mm and there 2-3mm. As always.
Shape is OK, but I will try it in two or three days... the hand should rest after hard work with the chisel before next shape corrections.
